That rag is notorious for bad offroad press....all one can do is not purchase subscriptions, and if people you know use them for advertising make sure they understand their stance. |

I completely agree with you. I cancelled my subscription a few years back for another reason. Star Tribune donates heavily to the United Way. United Way donates heavily to the BoyScouts of America. Boy Scouts of America said they didn't want any gay scout leaders. Star Tribune said that if Boy Scouts didn't change their position and allow gay scout leaders, they would stop donating to United Way. United Way bent under the pressure and told the Boy Scouts to go gay or get no contributions. Boy Scouts are now an equal opportunity employer. At the time Dustin was in scouts and I thought it was bad judgement to allow people who were openly gay to be leaders. I figured it should have been like the military, don't ask don't tell. Apparently everyone does not think like me, including Star Tribune. _________________ Thank you,

My note
Del,
I thought this maybe of special interest to you guys at the BRC. The
Minneapolis Star Tribune has just finished a 3 part series entitled
Renegade Riders. This series has focused on the usage of state forests
by motorized recreationists.
While the story focused mainly on growing ATV use, as an avid sledder
and OHM user, I feel that this series is extremly biased against the
motorized users of public lands.
I was hoping that the BRC would perhaps lend it's voice of reason to
what seems to be an attack on the publics right to enjoy public lands.
Here is a link to the series.

Thanks for your time
Robb Warner
Response I revieved back.
Thanks Robb, I have forwarded your message to several key folks in BRC. I
had not heard of this. So we'll get the word around and figure out what
this all means.
Thanks mucho,
