I have never been here, we are thinking of going in May. Any suggestions for the best place to start/best trailhead? Also is there camping at the trailheads? Thanks -Greg _________________ Greg Van Moer

There is camping at the city park in Duquette , there is even 4 or 5 spots with electric , no water or sewer and are on a first come basis . The guy that owns the Duquette store is dirt bike friendly and should have trail maps . You could go to the D23 site and ask for info at Nemadji , more than likely Ken Fastner ( Nemadjiman ) will anwser and knows everything about the area |

A good place to camp is at Pickrel Lake, which is just west of Nickerson. (follow the signs from Nickerson). There is no electric, but from this location you are very close, you can ride the bikes, to many of the trails, both single and two track. The two track are nice for kids and go for miles and the single track trails are part of the enduro course. Great riding! |
