This is the sighting lap of the June 3rd Supersport race at Elkhart Lake. The person taking the video is in the back seat with two others and I'm in the front. It just finished raining so the track was wet. Driver was the GM of the track so he'd spun a few laps. Good times.

looks like some fun...
last year my bro and i and a few friends spend 2 full days scorching road amearica on our sportbikes at a track day weekend. Just tons of fun to ride a big track as the "big boys" race.
The topography is super and the front straighaway lends to some fantastic speeds!!!!
My favoarite section is coming down the hill into turn 5 all the way thru the large carousel...super fun.
What type of car were you in?? You could here that engine on the clip...
howd you get hooked up with that dude???
Thanks for sharing....good stuff!!! _________________ snap

A track day on your bike does sound like a lot of fun Mike. When do we go?
We were in a hopped up Toyota Camry Solara. Big brakes, wheels, rollcage, and the exhaust note sounded pretty healthy for a Camry.
Shoei was a title sponsor of the race and my rep got me in. After we got out of the pace car, they let us go inside of the pit wall to watch the start from about 5 feet away. |

LOL! It is indeed Matt! Good for him! Do any of you guys remember when he put Troy Fritch's clothes on and raced Troy's bike in the C Class at Arkansas? Matt was an A rider and he and Troy lived together. Troy was moving to Illinois and thought it would be funny to have Matt race his bike with his clothes on. Matt was doing tabletops like Carmichael, he was also doing airborn tricks on the track while all of us wondered where the hell Troy had been practicing?
As it turned out, the joke was on Matt, he finished 2nd in C Class to some 250 C rider.........An A rider taking 2nd in C Class.....Way to go Matt! _________________ Thank you,
