Golden Eagles Motorcycle Club Membership page

We would like to encourage you to join the club. The club is always looking for good, active members to help us with the voluntary maintenance of the Zumbro Bottom trails. Every year, GEMC members voluntarily give their personal time to ensure that the Zumbro Bottoms are maintained properly for the enjoyment of all trail users. Working closely with the DNR, the GEMC has performed this service for over 13 years.

Trail maintenance usually includes, but is not limited to the following:
- Repairing hills and trails damaged by erosion
- Clearing and repairing trails damaged by floods
- Erosion prevention by the spreading of wood chips
- Removal of logs and debris from trails
- Clean up of camp grounds
- Removal of overgrowth so trails are passable

To facilitate this work, the club owns several ATVs with drags as well as lots of other equipment (chainsaws, weed eaters, etc) to make trail clearing easier.

Being a member of the GEMC offers many benefits. Members (who are in good standing) and their families get free access to any non-competitive events that the club hosts. Good standing members also receive other stipends from time to time as the club may determine. Stipends may be pizza, dinners, club jackets, and/or mileage. The club usually sponsors a winter ride each year as well. Click on the Forum or Facebook links in the navigator to find out more information about the rides.

Membership dues are $40 for the first year and $35 every year after that. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. The location of the meeting is Fat Willy's restaurant at Suite 400, 4325 Maine Avenue S.E., Rochester, MN, 55904. The meeting location does change on occasion, so if you plan on attending a meeting for the first time, be sure to contact a member and/or ask on our forum or facebook (links in the navigator) to confirm the location!

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the nature of the activities that our club performs and the equipment that our club must use to perform these activities, the club must ask you to read and sign a waiver. This is needed if you wish to be a new member, and/or if you are planning on working one of our events for “worker points”. This waiver must be read and signed before any work is performed. Click the link below to see our waiver. Print and fill it out entirely and bring it to the event. Remember, anyone showing up to do any trail work whatsoever must have a waiver, and it must be completely filled out and turned in to the club.

Click, Read, Print, Fill out, and Sign this WAIVER

Simply attend one of our meetings to see if the Golden Eagles are your kind of club. We look forward to meeting you!
